Biography

Mr. Lwitiko Mwalukasa is a visionary entrepreneur, business management consultant, and the esteemed founder of the Tanzania Institute of Project Management (PMI). With a passion for fostering economic growth and development in Tanzania, Mr. Mwalukasa has dedicated his career to introducing innovative initiatives that contribute to a vibrant economy.

Being a seasoned entrepreneur, Mr. Mwalukasa has successfully navigated the business landscape in Tanzania. His ventures have not only demonstrated business acumen but also a commitment to making a positive impact on society. Through strategic leadership and a forward-thinking approach, he has carved a niche in Tanzanian business community.

Mr. Mwalukasa’s commitment to excellence in project management led to the establishment of the TIPM. The institute stands as a testament to his dedication to the professional development of individuals and organisations in the field of project management. Under his leadership, the institute aims to elevate project management standards, equipping professionals with the skills needed to drive successful projects in various sectors.

Mr. Mwalukasa firmly believes in the transformative power of creative ideas. He envisions these ideas as catalysts for economic growth and prosperity in Tanzania. By fostering an environment that encourages innovation and creativity, he aims to contribute in unlocking the full potential of the country’s resources and talent pool.

Recognizing the importance of family businesses in the economic fabric of Tanzania, Mr. Mwalukasa is set to introduce a Family Business and Enterprise Development Program. This initiative seeks to empower and sustain family-owned enterprises, fostering generational continuity and economic resilience. Through strategic planning and tailored solutions, he aims to ensure the long-term success of these businesses.

Mr. Mwalukasa firmly believes that youth are the engine driving the future of the country. Understanding their pivotal role, they play; he is dedicated to creating opportunities for the youth through various programs and projects. By providing platforms for skill development, entrepreneurship, and leadership, he envisions a stable economy and a socially empowered younger generation.

In addition to his advocacy for family businesses and youth empowerment, Mr. Mwalukasa is gearing up to introduce comprehensive Project Management services. Leveraging his expertise, he aims to assist organisations including the Government in effectively planning, executing, and monitoring projects, ensuring success and contributing to the overall economic development of Tanzania and beyond.
