Eng. Prof. Yonah, a Professor of Practice, has over four-decades of practice and his work spans the academia (University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM): 1985-2000) and The Nelson Mandela Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST: 2013 – 2017); industry (TTCL: 1998 – 2008) and policy-making fields. Most of the time he has practiced at strategic, management and operational levels in the ICT/Communication sector in Tanzania and beyond – formulating and managing multi-million-dollar telecom projects/businesses in Tanzania, and as a Policy maker in the Government of United Republic of Tanzania: (2008 – 2013). He has participated fully as an expert, a researcher, a practitioner and a Lead Consultant to many customers including the Government of Tanzania and African Development Bank (AfDB). He is currently offering Academic Institution Management consultancy as the Principal at the Tanzania Institute of Project Management (TIPM).
