Objectives:

  • Effective Grant Management: TIPM endeavors to manage grant funds efficiently and transparently, ensuring compliance with donor requirements, local regulations, and best practices in grant management.

Grant Compliance and Reporting:

  • Establishing Procedures: TIPM develops comprehensive procedures for managing grants, including guidelines for grant management, monitoring, and reporting, under donor requirements and best practices.
  • Tracking and Monitoring: TIPM implements robust systems for tracking grant funds, expenditures, and activities to ensure compliance with donor regulations. Regular monitoring and evaluation are conducted to assess project progress, achievements, and challenges.
  • Timely Reporting: TIPM prepares accurate and timely financial and programmatic reports for donors, highlighting project progress, outcomes, challenges, and lessons learned. Reports are tailored to meet donor requirements and provide transparency on the use of grant funds.
  • Risk Management: TIPM implements risk management strategies to anticipate, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with grant-funded projects. It identifies risks, develops mitigation plans, and monitors risk factors throughout the project lifecycle to minimize their impact on project outcomes

Capacity Building and Training for Partner Organizations (NGOs):

  • Needs Assessment: TIPM conducts needs assessments to identify capacity-building needs and priorities of partner organizations, particularly NGOs, in grant management, project implementation, and organizational development.
  • Training Programs: TIPM designs and delivers customized training programs on grant acquisition and management, project management, financial management, monitoring and evaluation, and organizational development to strengthen the capacity of partner organizations and enhance their ability to secure and manage grants effectively.
  • Technical Assistance and Mentorship: TIPM provides ongoing technical assistance, mentorship, and advisory support to partner organizations to address specific challenges, build institutional capacity, and improve performance in grant management practices and project implementation.
